Earlier tonight at the huge Ring of Honor “16th Anniversary Show”, former ROH World Champion & reigning Impact Wrestling World Champion Austin Aries showed up moments after Kenny King successfully defended the Ring of Honor Television Championship against Silas Young.
“The Greatest Man That Ever Lived” cut a promo towards King, issuing a challenge for the Ring of Honor Television Championship…a title that Aries has never won.
Aries, who is currently on a championship collecting tour, showed up on the stage with belts from a variety of promotions that he is currently representing.

Austin Aries is a former Ring of Honor World Champion and during his 2nd reign, he formed an alliance with King & his former tag team partner Rhett Titus.
This is an interesting turn of events as Impact Wrestling & Ring of Honor have both been open to working with other promotions in the past few years.
It is very possible that this may be a crossover deal for the two wrestling companies, but that is not confirmed.
