According to Ariel Helwani, Daniel Cormier, the reigning UFC Lightheavyweight Champion, has suffered an injury and has been forced out of his UFC 206 title defense against Anthony “Rumble” Johnson on December 10th.
Multiple sources have confirmed this report to Helwani. The UFC is now scrambling for a main event & new opponent for Johnson with just over two weeks until the fight.
