According to a report from WrestlingInc.com, Cody claims that he has “no intention of signing with WWE.”
On the Jericho Cruise, Cody faced Delirious. Post match, Cody grabbed the microphone and told the crowd that he wouldn’t be signing with WWE & would be doing “everything in his power to make All In 2 happen.”
The report notes that Brandi Rhodes, Cody’s wife, was pleading with him to not make this announcement moments before he did. As always, this could be a huge work orchestrated by the savvy and brilliant Cody Rhodes.
Only time will tell what the future holds for the pro wrestler/entrepreneur as we head in 2019.
