Brickhouse Brown Passes Away at 57 Years Old After Battle with Cancer

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer NewsletterBrickhouse Brown has passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer.

The report states that Brown passed away 9:45 AM (EST) on Sunday morning.

This comes following Brown’s death being inaccurately reported on July 20th, 2018 through several Facebook pages. It’s reported that Brown did flatline in Hospice care, but was found alive by a family member.

Brown was trained by Terry Funk and joined the National Wrestling Alliance in 1983. Moved onto the Championship Wrestling Association in Memphis in 1987 feuding with the likes of Terry Funk, Scott Steiner, Jerry Lawler and Robert Fuller and the Stud Stable. He was also a three-time USWA World Tag Team Champion and had a run with the USWA Television Championship and the WCWA Texas Heavyweight Championship.
