As seen on Monday Night Raw, Braun Strowman is out of his Universal Title match against Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble and Finn Balor is in. One question that has been on people’s mind is why?
According to a report from PWInsider.com, the reason for the change is that Strowman is not expected to be cleared for the Rumble event. This gave WWE a way out of a corner they backed themselves into, as it was believed that Lesnar would defeat Braun.
As of now there is no word if Strowman will appear at the Rumble and how, if in any way, this changes any plans for Strowman at Wrestlemania.
