Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan is now a member of the TNA Wrestling creative team. He speaks with Josh Mathews in the video above and the news was first broken by Variety.
Corgan’s new title is “Senior Producer of Creative and Talent development.” He was having meetings at TNA headquarters in Nashville a few weeks back.
He told Variety:
“There is a tremendous opportunity to go into really fresh, new directions. There are ways to explore those themes in ways that are productive, create new stars and show that value-based ‘babyfaces’, no matter what their background, no matter where they come from, can draw new audiences and inspire people in new ways.”
