According to our close personal friends at The Wrestling Observer, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will not be competing at the next Raw-exclusive event, Payback. The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 30th.
The current plan is to book Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in the Payback main event in a #1 contender match for a shot at Lesnar at a future Raw pay-per-view event. Currently, Strowman is penciled in to win the contest and face Lesnar.
Furthermore, the report states that Finn Balor could be thrown into the mix as a way to keep Roman strong by not taking a pinfall.
