As many are aware, we reported earlier this year that Mauro Ranallo and WWE officially parted ways after reports of backstage bullying and misconduct. Since then, Ranallo has rejoined WWE in a different role as the NXT lead play-by-play commentator.

In an update by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the report states that relations between WWE and Ranallo have been much better and that most of Ranallo’s issues were with Vince McMahon, rather than John “Bradshaw” Layfield. Meltzer noted that JBL was “the straw that broke the camel’s back,” and Ranallo wasn’t a fan of McMahon’s backstage culture.

The report states that Ranallo now strictly reports to Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Michael Cole, who both helped get Ranallo into WWE in the first place.
