According to PWInsider.com, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper is scheduled to make his return in the very near future.

Harper has been out of work with a torn ACL since this past March and was said to be on the shelf for 6-7 months. PWInsider is reporting that Harper is scheduled to make an appearance at the WWE Performance Center within the week to evaluate his injury and see where his rehab is at this time.

Right now, there is no word yet on which brand Harper will be placed. Some have speculated SmackDown LIVE would be the proper home for him considering how thin the SD Live roster is. There has been talk of pairing Harper back up with Erick Rowan, to add another tag team to the weak division, but this is all just speculation. But there are some that think he might go to Raw because of Erick Rowan and Bray Wyatt being on SmackDown might would cause fans to think a reunion could take place, which might not be what they want to do, considering they have broken/reunited the group several times in the past.
