According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Executive Vice President of Talent, Creative and Live Events Paul “Triple H” Levesque is reportedly very interested in signing TNA Wrestling’s BROKEN Matt Hardy once his contract with Impact has expired in the spring.

The report states that Triple H and other WWE officials have become impressed with how difference and unique the gimmick Matt Hardy is portraying and want to bring it to WWE.

It’s being said that Matt Hardy is being sent “feelers” by WWE officials wondering if he’d be interested in rejoining the company. Triple H or Vince McMahon have reportedly not spoken to Matt Hardy due to the fact that he is signed to another company.

WWE officials became interested in Matt Hardy once fans started chanting, “DELETE” during SummerSlam weekend and at other WWE live events. Some believe that Hardy isn’t really interested in working for WWE because he doesn’t want to work a full time schedule and currently has creative control over his character with TNA.

Also, in the past, Hardy has bragged about the fact that he makes more money with TNA and working independent dates than with WWE. But considering Hardy’s legacy with WWE and how “over” this gimmick is, I assume WWE would offer him a good sized deal.

At this time, this is just a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt.
