In a report provided by ProWrestlingSheet.com, WWE is currently having a dialogue about producing a major pay-per-view event in Melbourne, Australia next year.

The report states that WWE is considering reviving an old show name, “Global Warning” for the 2018 blockbuster event. WWE last held a Global Warning Tour in 2002 in the at Colonial Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. The attendance for that show was 56,734, which set an attendance record for the venue at that time.

The Sheet also states that the company has preliminary plans for the event in October 2018 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, which can hold 100,000 people.
