Report: Kurt Angle Will Compete for WWE in Some Capacity; More Details Inside

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kurt Angle will reportedly compete in a WWE ring in some capacity before or shortly after his WWE Hall of Fame induction.

In the report, Meltzer noted that the plan right now is for Angle to return to the ring, but he must complete and pass a physical exam administered by the WWE medical staff. It should also be noted that WWE would only use Angle in a limited manner, meaning that if he does return to the ring, it could be for a one-off match or segment.

Many within WWE are concerned about Angle’s health and do not want him competing if he cannot handle the physical toll. Angle was announced earlier this year as the headliner for the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class and will be inducted in Orlando, FL during WrestleMania 33 weekend.
