According to a report via PWInsider.com, Dean Ambrose is cleared for action and is expected to return to WWE programming within the next month.

The report states that one source told PWInsider WWE currently has plans to include Ambrose at this month’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view on August 19th, 2018 in Brooklyn, New York. At this time, it’s unclear when exactly Ambrose will make his return or if he’ll come back at the pay-per-view itself. There is also a chance that he could show up after SummerSlam as well.

Most of this must depend on what WWE has planned for Ambrose once he returns.

Ambrose, 32, has been out of action for 8 months with a tricep injury. Ambrose was originally slated to be on the shelf for 9 months, so he is right on track to what was reported by WWE initially.

There has been speculation that Ambrose will be thrown into the Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre feud to even the odds, but that is purely conjecture.
