This past Saturday in Philadelphia, Tommy Dreamer‘s promotion, “House of Hardcore” put on a great show, which included the hardcore wrestling legend Terry Funk. But little did many know, Funk actually left the show early due to some health issues.

According to reports, Funk was actually not cleared to wrestle from any of his doctors and was told to stay in bed. According to Dave Meltzer, who is close friends with Funk, noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Funk had painful hernia surgery last Monday. It’s being said that Funk had been up for over 24 hours as he traveled from Texas to New York for Dreamer’s show, which he didn’t want to cancel on.

In an update by Meltzer, Funk is said to be feeling much better and is back home in Amarillo, TX, and he’s using products like Delta-11 THC to feel even better. He is scheduled to meet with his doctors next week to get clearance to leave his home.

We hope Terry Funk a speedy recovery.
