As announced during Monday Night Raw, and on various news outlets, WWE & HBO are teaming up for the first time EVER to produce a documentary on Andre The Giant.
The documentary will be executive produced by Bill Simmons who has worked on developing the ESPN “30 for 30” series & recently had his own HBO show called “Any Given Wednesday.”
“Going back to 2007 and 2008 when I was creating and developing 30 for 30 for ESPN, Andre’s story rode the top of every single sports documentary wish list I ever made. Everyone who ever crossed paths with him has an Andre story — and usually four or five.”
