Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Receiving Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

It was reported earlier this week that former WWE Champion and movie star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on December 13th for his contribution to motion pictures. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m. PT at 6801 Hollywood Blvd., in front of Hollywood and Highland.

Here’s a quote from Ana Martinez, who is a producer for the Walk of Fame:

“Not only does Dwayne have a great personality and talent, but he also does a great amount of philanthropic work which is part of the criteria for earning an immortal spot on the Walk of Fame. We envision scores of photos being taken at his star by his fans.”

Johnson joins Vince McMahon as the only two stars who are originally from professional wrestling. McMahon was induced in 2008.
