Concussion Preventing WWE Return for RVD

In a report released by The Blast, former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam can no longer wrestle for WWE due to a concussion suffered in the ring.

RVD claims that on November 12, 2016 a concussion occurred in a match at a PCW event which “caused visual impairment” and took away the opounity to wrestle in WWE.

Van Dam is currently in a divorce settlement with his ex-wife Sonya. In the report, RVD claims that he no longer makes the money of a wrestling superstar and cannot get back to that level due to in-ring injuries.

His merchandising deal with WWE also ended this past July.

RVD last returned to WWE at Money in the Bank 2013 and had a year run that helped to push young, up and coming wrestlers.
