In an exclusive interview with WWE.com, NXT Head Trainer Matt Bloom discusses his association with Bullet Club & the strong rumors of AJ Styles, Doc GallowsKarl Anderson coming into WWE.

Joey Styles sent out a Tweet with a link to the article; once again utilizing the New Japan logo, Bullet Club logo & even a mention of the NJPW Twitter handle. All of this is interesting because WWE seems to be changing their policies on making reference to other promotions within the professional wrestling business.

Here is an exert from the interview on WWE.com:

WWE.COM: You were one of the biggest American stars in Japan for years. Do you have any association with The Bullet Club?

MATT BLOOM: I’m friends with most of those guys. The Bullet Club came to fruition after I left. It’s something that Finn Bálor came up with one night while hanging with his buddies. They all kind of made fun of him about it, thinking it would never take off.

WWE.COM: Obviously, the group’s popularity exploded. What impact did they have in Japan?

BLOOM: That’s a faction that really helped New Japan become global, because everywhere you look, there are Bullet Club shirts at U.S. sporting events and U.S. wrestling events. It just took off. It’s all the brainchild of Finn Bálor and Karl Anderson.

It also needs to be noted that Dave Meltzer reported on The Wrestling Observer that Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson are set to debut at the March NXT Tapings. No word on when AJ Styles will be debuting, but rumors have circulated that he could be making his first appearance as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble.
