The WWE Superstar Shake-Up begins tonight on Monday Night RAW. I’m going to keep this brief. I believe that Smackdown’s roster needs to maintain a core with AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura & Daniel Bryan.
I also believe that there is so much more that you can do creatively with the 3 members of The Shield on RAW.
So those 6 superstars are safe. Sure, they could be moved, but I don’t think it would be in the best interest of WWE right now. Also, Strowman stays on RAW too.
Here are my picks for the 2018 WWE Superstar Shake-Up.
RAW
- Baron Corbin – Mr. McMahon is reportedly a big fan of Corbin. I would move him to RAW with the intention on a feud with Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman.
- Rusev & Aiden English – These two need change. Work them into the RAW Tag Team Division in an immediate feud with Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt.
- Becky Lynch – More of a want than a prediction. I know she’s tight with Charlotte so who knows if she’d want to change travel partners. She would be gold as a challenger to Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax.
- The Uso’s – How many times can you go to the well with The Uso’s vs. The New Day? They have been on absolute fire lately & a series of matches against The Bar, Authors of Pain & The Hardy Boyz could revitalize the now completely reset RAW Tag Team Division after the wrath of Nicholas.
- Natalya – Another challenger to Nia Jax & a solid feud with Sasha Banks could really help the division. Also, I wouldn’t be shocked if her experience & skill set earns Nattie & shot with Ronda Rousey.
- Lana – So she can stay on the same show with Rusev. She 100% needs to be on screen with him at all times.
Smackdown Live
- Finn Balor – He’s floundering on RAW. Smackdown Live is perfect to add fresh rivalries to his portfolio.
- The Bar – Smackdown Live needs to replace The Uso’s. Not only can Sheamus & Cesaro work as a tag team for the immediate future, they add two formidable heels to wrestle singles from time to time.
- Miztourage – They need to stay together & an immediate feud with Daniel Bryan is something everyone wants to see.
- Bayley – New scenery could be a blessing for Bayley. One of the best matches Smackdown Live Women’s Champion Carmella has ever had was in NXT against Bayley. Easy transition.
- Gallows & Anderson – They need to stick around Balor. Also, AJ Styles remains on Smackdown…The Club could be at full strength!
- The Revival – They’re completely floundering on RAW. I would somehow turn Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin into babyfaces & pair them up with The Revival.
I also think that we should see Zelina Vega make her main roster debut to start the process of bringing Andrade Cien Almas to the main roster. She should negotiate with both General Managers. I would eventually add Almas to Smackdown Live; surprise attacking Dolph Ziggler who will make his offense look like $20,000,000.
