PWP Nation’s Caden “CJ” Moran discusses the five things we learned from the June 6th episode of Smackdown LIVE

1. The Lana Experiment is Destined to Fail

Lana will not last long and neither will I if you know what I mean. But seriously, what is this? Lana has proven that she is unable to work a match and all she is good for is being Rusev’s manager. That’s it. So why is she being pushed right away by receiving an immediate Women’s title match? Is it her looks? Yes.

The gimmick will not work and I give it until Summerslam when she will reunite with her husband once again and fall back into mediocrity.

2. The “Fashion Files” are Must See

For the past month, Fandango and Tyler Breeze have been one of, if not the, best things about Smackdown LIVE and a big reason is due to the “Fashion Files”. With the mixture of comedy and story telling, these two have certainty proven that they are more than just “jobbers”.

Breezango may have failed in their quest to claim the Smackdown Tag Team titles but they are still playing a huge role on Tuesday nights and for me personally, I love every single bit of it.

3. Mojo Rawley Has a Job for One Reason

The guy won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal two months ago and look at him now. Since Wrestlemania in April, Mojo Rawley has been one of the most useless and irrelevant guys on the entire roster. So why did he win the battle royal and quite frankly, why does he even have a job? Two words: Rob Gronkowsi.

If it weren’t for Gronk, Mojo would be gone but in this day and age for WWE, they care about the media spotlight and a big star like Gronkowsi brings them that. But after the quick loss to WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, Mojo will be going nowhere in his singles career.

4. The Usos are the Best Tag Team in WWE

For as awful as the Smackdown tag team division has been, The Usos have done a damn fine job at proving they are the best tag team in WWE. Ever since their heel turn last year, The Usos have become an entirely different team and it is awesome. With their fiery promos and character along with the in-ring talent they already possessed, The Usos are, without a doubt, the best tag team in WWE.

After their encounter with The New Day, it is sure to be an excellent feud and as always, The Usos will deliver because unlike Sheamus and Cesaro, they are the bar right now in WWE.

5. Shinsuke Nakamura is Over Hyped

Anyone else? Shinsuke Nakamura is a world class performer, yes. But ever since being called up to the blue brand, Nakamura hasn’t delivered anything noticeable and has been given the label oi “over hyped”. Now he has only been on the main roster for a little over a month but with the constant branding and promotion of Shinsuke, you’d think we would see something that makes us go “wow!’.

And if you didn’t know who Shinsuke was before he came to WWE, then you have zero reason to be invested because the guy has been a disappointment. I hope he turns it around but as of right now, he is just another over hyped signing.

Overall, it was a solid episode of Smackdown LIVE and with Money In The Bank not far away, they need to keep it up.
